Meghan Markle's older half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. told the Mail Online that Prince Harry met with Markle's dad during one of the prince's visits to Toronto, before the public knew of their relationship. Thomas Jr. said that Meghan and her father are very close. He added, ?He?s pretty happy about Harry and he?s extremely proud of her. She?s very much in love and she?s obviously happy because if she wasn?t happy, she wouldn?t be there." He has not yet met Prince Harry himself. The couple began dating in May of 2016 but their relationship didn't become public knowledge until later that year in November.
