The ABC hit-comedy The Goldbergs has become famous for its hilarious portrayal of family life in the 80s. As the decade is drawing to a close on the show, the characters will be gearing up for the release of the 1989 blockbuster, Batman. For the episode about the events surrounding the Batman film's release, comedian Kevin Smith will finally get to helm a project focused on the Dark Knight himself. "I grew up watching the Adam West Batman and I was in a sold out movie theater for Tim Burton's Batman on opening day, June 23rd, 1989, so I can't wait to recreate those early eras of Bat-amania in the Goldbergs Universe," the comedian said.
