Media sources report the TV show Lost ended with a reputation of frustration for many fans. Its divisive finale and lack of resolution counter its memory of being a top-rated show. One trivia piece, unknown to some, is that actor Michael Keaton was originally set to play Jack Shepherd in the pilot; a role that instead went to Matthew Fox. Jack was also originally intended to die in the first episode, as a shock to assure the audience that anything could happen on the series.
