Mariah Carey sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss her recent New Years Eve performance in Times Square. Moments before the ball dropped to ring in 2017, Carey's live peformance was filled with technical difficulties. During the performance, Carey stopped singing multiple times. She told Entertainment tonight that she didn't believe Dick Clark would let an artist be mortified during a live performance. Carey said this wouldn't discourage her from live performances in the future, and said: "it will make me less trusting of using anyone outside of my own team."
