VIDEO : Trailer Released For Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds Documentary

A new trailer for HBO's "Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds" has just been released. Originally slated for a March premiere, the network decided to air the 95-minute documentary early, following the recent deaths of the mother-daughter duo. Directed by Alexis Bloom and Fisher Stevens, the documentary's official synopsis says it is "...an intimate portrait of Hollywood royalty in all its eccentricity." According to Bloom and Stevens, ?We started out making a film about Hollywood royalty. And we ended up making a film about love.? Carrie Fisher died on December 27th, 2016 at the age of 60, and on the following day, her mother Debbie Reynolds passed away as well. According to Reynolds' son Todd Fisher, before being rushed to the hospital, Reynolds' last words were, "I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie." "Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds" is scheduled to premiere on January 7th on HBO.
