VIDEO : Full Speed Ahead With 'Expendables 4,' Says Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables" franchise has built an empire around nostalgia for the action films of the 80's and 90's. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, and Dolph Lundgren are among the high-profile names that have appeared in the series, written by and starring Rambo himself, Sylvester Stallone. The films have brought in a collective box office of nearly $800 million, even though the last in the series, 2014?s "Expendables 3," turned out to be both a financial and critical flop. But Stallone and crew are soldiering on, and a Facebook video posted by Stallone is now confirming that a fourth film is officially in the works. In the video, Stallone tells fans he will soon be bulking up for the project, saying ?We got great ideas. I think everyone?s expecting something different, and we?re going to give it to them.? Though the star doesn't elaborate on cast, premise, or start date, "Expendables 4" is slated to arrive sometime in 2018.
