In the wake of the tragic loss of mother daughter duo, Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher, HBO has decided to move the premiere of it's documentary about the pair "Bright Lights" up from it's March 2017 debut to January 7, 2017. According to Screen Rant " the documentary examines the extremely close relationship the two shared, down to living together at the same Los Angeles compound." Upon the news of the passing of both Icons HBO (as reported by Deadline) decided it would be best to bump the premiere date up.
