Lily James is playing Winston Churchill?s secretary in the upcoming film ?Darkest Hour.? She will be starring with Gard Oldman who is playing Churchill. She revealed in an interview that she learned how to touch type on a typewriter, for the role. She told BANG Showbiz, ?I am actually playing a typist, so I?ve been learning to type on an old typewriter for the last few months. So if everything goes wrong with acting, I?m going to be a secretary.? James also said her dream role would be playing Carole King in a film biopic of the musician.
