Fresh off accolades for his performances in the films "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "The Revenant" and the TV series "Peaky Blinders," Tom Hardy is returning to the small screen in the upcoming miniseries "Taboo," which he also co-created. Hardy plays Delaney, a man thought to have died, who returns to Britain in the early-1800s, hoping to rebuild his father?s shipping empire. Taboo reunites Hardy with "Peaky Blinders" creator Steven Knight, and was produced for BBC One, which recently released a 90-second clip featuring a scene from the TV show, in which Hardy's unpredictable and violent Delaney visits a brothel and engages in a volatile confrontation with the Madam. "Taboo" is scheduled to premier domestically on FX on January 10th, 2017.
