Following reports from TheWrap on Wednesday saying that actor Ryan Reynolds had shot a scene as the character Deadpool for the upcoming Wolverine movie, Logan, the 40-year-old actor took to Twitter to deny the rumors, saying, "Sadly, not true. Prisoner 24601 is on a solo mission." The 'Prisoner 24601' reference is a nod to Hugh Jackman's character, Jean Valjean, in the 2012 musical flick, Les Miserables. 'Logan' director James Mangold also shut down the Deadpool cameo rumors Wednesday, tweeting, "For everyone freaking out, @TheWrap is dealing in fake news. Chill."
