Some fans don't know this but Carrie Fisher and singer-songwriter Paul Simon were married briefly in the 1980's.
After the news of her death broke, Simon said via his concours-twitter.htm">twitter page "Yesterday was a horrible day. Carrie was a special, wonderful girl. It's too soon."
Paul Simon was Carrie Fisher's only husband.
The two started dating in 1977 and were wed in 1983. The marriage did not last long
Fisher said it was a tumultous relationship. During a fight on their honeymoon, Fisher told him "Not only do I not like you, I don't like you personally!"
