On Tuesday, in the wake of Carrie Fishers death, an intrepid South Carolina resident has launched a bid to save Betty White.
Demetrios Hrysikos took to GoFundMe and launched?Help protect Betty White from 2016? campaign.
The GoFundMe reached it's $2000 in just a day. Hrysikos would have used the money to fly to White's location and protect her.
If she survives past January 1st, the money will be donated to a local theater group.
