In the wake of Carrie Fisher's death, many celebrities took to social media to share their kind thoughts about the Star Wars actress. Her mother, actress Debbie Reynolds, also took to social media to share a touching tribute. Fisher was the daughter of entertainers Debbie Fisher and the late pop singer Eddie Fisher. In a Facebook post Reynolds wrote: "Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carries Mother"
