In the wake of Carrie Fisher's passing, many have taken to social media to mourn her death. Her dog, Gary took to concours-twitter.htm">twitter after her death. The account posted: Saddest tweets to tweet. Mommy is gone. I love you Carrie Fisher." The account also posted a picture of Gary looking out the window, and wrote: "I'll still be waiting for you." Fisher was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and adopted Gary to help settle her nerves. The dog accompanied Fisher almost everywhere, including red carpets and on camera interviews. In a previous interview, Fisher spoke of Gary and said: "Gary is like my heart. Gary is very devoted to me and that calms me down. "
