Rogue One: A Star Wars Story launched into theaters to rave reviews, and fans of the sci-fi franchise were eager to explore another facet of its original trilogy. However, audiences are now beginning to feel a disturbance in the Force. With the new year upon us, Lucasfilm will begin promotions for Star Wars: Episode VIII in the coming months, and one of its stars is now raving about the anticipated feature.

During a recent chat with The Daily Beast, Adam Driver took a moment to talk about his work in the Star Wars universe. The actor, who plays Kylo Ren, was asked what it was like to work with Rian Johnson on the next trilogy film - and Driver had only good things to report.
?He?s a brilliant filmmaker,? Driver gushed. ?And he wrote the script also, and he understands the importance of ambiguity and nuance. He wrote something that I think is remarkable.?
Driver also talked a bit about how surreal his life has been since he was cast in the popular franchise. ?It is a trip! I?m not very good at analyzing it, I guess, or even making time to attach meaning to it. So much of it is luck, and timing. I work hard but I can work hard in a vacuum,? he explained.
?I?ve been lucky to get these opportunities. It?s very surreal to me. In working on the jobs?and actually doing the thing?I block that stuff from my mind as much as possible, because it?s not good to get nostalgic or overthink it. That might be a good strength of mine: not thinking a lot.?
For now, fans will have to take Driver at his word when it comes to Star Wars: Episode VIII. No footage from the film has been released, and Kathleen Kennedy teased that a trailer would not be coming until the spring. Right now, Lucasfilm is focused on promoting Rogue One to ride out the holiday season until 2017 ushers in a brand-new trilogy adventure for Star Wars fans everywhere.
