VIDEO : Actress Anya Taylor-Joy On Fashion, Fear And Film Acting

Despite her background as a ballet dancer, actress Anya Taylor-Joy says she was a ?real tomboy? growing up. Breaking out earlier this year with the films "The Witch," "Morgan" and the upcoming M. Night Shyamalan-directed "Split," Taylor-Joy is quickly becoming something of a horror "it girl," but says she isn't quite comfortable being in the public eye. The actress told Entertainment Tonight ?Fashion used to really stress me out and recently, I have been really embracing it. I see it as works of art, and, if Frida Kahlo would wear it, I would usually wear it.? And the actress also reveals: ?I will always hate my face,? saying it?s an issue she has to get over in order to watch herself on screen. ?I love to act, so I try to separate those things.? Fans can also catch the actress in Netflix?s Barack Obama biopic, "Barry," which focuses on the 44th president of United States as a 20-year-old college student in New York City.
