Today show OG Katie Couric will be revisiting her old stomping grounds for a short time in January to join her former co-host Matt Lauer. Couric left Today in 2006 to lead CBS Evening News. Now, the reporter is set to fill in for Savannah Guthrie while she takes her maternity leave. Couric's return is not permanent and it is not the first time she has returned.
