On her podcast, actress and Girls creator Lena Dunham joked that she wished she had an abortion. Dunham has since apologized for the controversial comment, calling it a "distasteful joke." She said she was referring to a time she was asked to share her "abortion story" and didn't have one. On her Instagram account, Dunham said she hoped her actions "won't diminish the amazing work of all the women who participated.
