Tokyo International Film Festival 2016 ? Opening Ceremony It?s Tuesday, so you know what that means: Meryl Streep is going to receive yet another well-deserved award. Streep will be honored with the Human Rights Campaign?s Ally for Equality Award at the 2017 HRC Greater New York Gala on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. This announcement came on Tuesday, Dec. 20, by way of the HRC, the nation?s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization.
