James Franco will play the captain of the Covenant, the ship that gives Alien: Covenant its name. His character, Branson, is also married to a character named Daniels, played by Katherine Waterson. Franco?s role is rumored to be a small one, mostly appearing in the first 10 minutes and then popping up throughout the rest of the film. Franco?s Branson will also appear in viral marketing footage that was shot for a marketing campaign.
