Slated to release in 2018, Marvel's "Black Panther" is shaping up to one of the most exciting film the studio has yet to produce, with arguably the best cast of any Marvel movie to date. Directed by Creed's Ryan Coogler, the film will star Chadwick Boseman as the titular superhero, and feature Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong?o, Angela Bassett, and more. Joining the cast will also be Forest Whitaker, hot off his recent role as Saw Gerrera in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Speaking on the The Empire Film Podcast, Whitaker - who produced Coogler's first film, "Fruitvale Station" - discussed his involvement in the upcoming tentpole, saying: ?I?m excited to do it. I mean I think Ryan?s an amazing filmmaker. I?ve got a chance to know him since college, so I?m excited to see what it?s like to be working with him on the other side, not as a producer but as an actor cause that?s how we started with Fruitvale Station.?
