Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel recently sat down with LA's KROQ radio station and talked all things Academy Awards. Not long ago, the news broke that Kimmel will host the 2017 Academy Awards. He told the radio show just how much he will earn for the evening: a modest-for-Hollywood $15,000 dollars. After admitting the amount, he said: "I'm not sure I was supposed to reveal this. But nobody told me not to. I consider this their fault." He then joked about how he was offered the role, and said: "They asked like 14 people and they all said no and then there was me." The awards show will air on February 26th of 2017.
