There will be a full length "Jekyll" movie based on the 6 episode miniseries that premiered in 2007 on BBC. The movie will star Chris Evans as Tom Jackman; Evans also starred as Captain America in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War. In the movie Tom Jackman is a direct descendant of Dr. Jekyll who has the same personality disorder. According to Deadline.com, Ruben Fleischer, who also directed the popular 2009 film Zombieland, has been confirmed as the director of the upcoming Jekyll movie.
