John Legend will perform at this year's NBA All-Star Weekend. The Grammy and Oscar Winning singer-songwriter will be the game's halftime performer. Previously, Legend sang the national anthem at the event in 2013 and performed in the halftime segment in 2009. This year, the All Star game will take place on February 19th in New Orleans. The game was initially scheduled in Charlotte, North Carolina, however, the NBA moved it due to state laws that require transgender people to use public bathrooms according to their birth gender. Earlier this month, Legend released his newest album, "Darkness and Light."
