Despicable Me 3 has been in the making since the release of Despicable Me 2 in 2014. As of now, Despicable Me 3 is set for a 2017 release. The 2015 Despicable Me spin-off movie, Minions, grossed over 1.1 billion dollars and the third and upcoming film in the series will likely grasp the attention of fans as well. The villain in the upcoming animated film is called "Balthazar Bratt" and South Park co-creator, Trey Parker, will be one of the voice actors in the movie.
