While Arrow may have been the first installment in the CW?s Arrowverse, the network?s corner of the DCTV wasn?t officially a shared universe until The Flash hit the screen. Praised for its impressive effects and lighter tone, the show continued the CW?s commitment to plumbing nearly every corner of DC?s comic book universe for superheroes and villains alike. Since then, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl have also joined in, with all four shows recently teaming up to take on the threat of an alien invasion.
