It's official: Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas is now a centenarian. The actor, who is best known for playing Spartacus in Stanley Kubrick's iconic 1960 film, turned 100 on Friday. In October, his son, actor Michael Douglas, paid tribute to his father at an event for the Motion Picture and Television Fund, saying he was "a true movie star from an era when movie stars were looked upon as our version of royalty." At the October event, Douglas was also presented with a birthday cake.
