Jennifer Hudson has come a long way since first being discovered on American Idol. The soulful singer now has an Oscar and is known for her amazing pipes. Hudson had the opportunity to show them off once again Wednesday night during her performance as Motormouth Maybelle in NBC's production of Hairspray live. Of course, Hudson slayed the role and afterwards could not be more proud of herself and her cast mates, excitedly exclaiming on social media, "Hairspray went live!"
