At a recent event, Oscar Winning actress Helen Mirren opened up about some of her acting inspirations. While celebrating her new AARP magazine cover at a luncheon, she explained that she hopes to bring the magic of dogs or babies to her work, and said: "you cannot take your eyes off them ... they are fantastic." The 71 year old actresses also took a stab at explaining her success and longevity in acting. She thinks it has to do a lot with her not wanting to be a movie star and her ability to "let go" of what she once was and embrace who she is now. She shared that she thinks this is a problem for other women her age, and said: "They're clinging on to what they were, and they aren't that anymore."
