In an appearance on The Rich Elsen Show, Joe Manganiello, who played one-eyed assassin Deathstroke in the 2016 film Suicide Squad, confirmed that The Batman will begin filming in 2017. He avoided talking about the specfics of the film's storyline. "It?s about Gotham, and this guy dresses up like a bat," said Manganiello.
