Actor Riz Ahmed says he always considered himself a Star Wars fan, but says, "I use that word lightly now that I have seen the extent of ?Star Wars? fandom. I am a fan, but I feel like that?s almost insulting to the superfans that I?ve seen."
Ahmed plays Bodhi Rook in the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and says the film benefits from the audience's familiarity with the world, allowing for new stylistic choices in the mode of storytelling.
