Actor Vin Diesel says the three years since friend and castmate Paul Walker, whom he calls his brother, tragically died in an auto accident have been the "hardest of [his] life".

Diesel is currently in Brazil promoting The Fast and the Furious 8 at Comic Con. He told reporters he's been to Brazil twice before, but always with "[his] brother, Pablo."
The action star said Thursday, the anniversary of Walker's death, was a hard one, though he also said, "the irony is the whole cast reached out and his daughter, Meadow, reached out and all that stuff helps you get through it.?
