To celebrate the acclaimed director's 79th birthday, the official Twitter account for the 'Alien' franchise, Alien Anthology, released a new image Wednesday featuring Scott on the set of a ship, seemingly from the set of the upcoming 'Prometheus' sequel Alien: Covenant. Covenant is set to help bridge the gap between Prometheus and the Alien series and it was recently confirmed that the 'Engineers' from Prometheus will appear in Covenant. The film is scheduled to reach theatres on May 19, 2017.
