VIDEO : Chris Pratt Deals With His Father's Death

Chris Pratt is finally coming to terms with the death of his father Dan Pratt, who passed away while Chris was filming Jurassic World in 2014. Chris admits he never had the greatest relationship with his father so at the time of his passing, Chris continued to work instead of taking time off to grieve. It wasn't until he began working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wherein his character searches the galaxy for his father did he realize the gravity of his loss. "The truth is I ripped open some wounds that had been healing for some time," Chris admits to British GQ.
