VIDEO : Joaquin Phoenix to Portray Quadriplegic Cartoonist in New Biopic

Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix is reportedly attached to star in the upcoming film 'Don?t Worry, He Won?t Get Far on Foot' an adaptation of quadriplegic cartoonist John Callahan memoir which will be directed by Gus Van Sant. Callahan, who passed away in 2010, became an alcoholic and a drug abuser as a teenager and a quadriplegic at 21 after being involved in a drunk driving accident. He then managed to rebuild his life to become an renowned cartoonist, learning to use both hands to draw and also reconciling with members of his family.
