In 2015 actress Leah Remini lifted the veil on yet another layer of the ever elusive world of Scientology with the release of her memoir Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. Now nearly a year later and widespread rebuke from the church, Remini has taken her journey to reality TV sharing her journey on the A&E series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, which premiered Tuesday night. As expected the leaders within the Scientology movment were not pleased about the latest move from Remini to expose the inner happenings of the religion. The Scientology news room published a statement calling those participating in Remini's show "a cast of admitted liars" and stated that A&E's participation "smacks of bigotry."
