Deadpool has had a lot of success throughout the year but the only people that aren't paying attention is the Academy. Ryan Reynolds, the star of Deapool, sits down with The Hollywood Reporter in a recent interview stating his concerns about the award season. "I?m grateful the Golden Globes recognizes it as a category. I wish the Academy did. Comedy is incredibly hard to do, and it?s not something that comes easily. The best comedy, in my opinion, has to be grounded in some form of truth." In the end, Deadpool pushed the comic book movie genre in many new directions and definitely made an impact.
