Actress Shannon Doherty revealed tuesday that she will play a pivotal role in TV Lands updated version of the Cult Classic film Heathers. The 1988 films stars Winona Ryder as socially berated Veronica Sawyer who tries to combat a group of mean girls all named Heather. Details are being kept under wraps but sources say that the new series set in the present day will see its heroine dealing with a new and vicious set of Heathers.
