On December 9th in New York City, singer Kesha will be presented the Billboard?s Women in Music Trailblazer award. Janice Min, the co-president and chief creative officer of Billboard Media Group said Tuesday, " Kesha is a force on stage, an inspiration in person and a true Trailblazer for millions of music fans around the world.? Despite her many accomplishments in music, Kesha's most recent career headlines have surrounded her lawsuit against longtime producer Dr. Luke for alleged sexual assault and emotional abuse. Following the announcement, Kesha thanked Billboard for the honor on Instagram, writing, "thank you to @billboard for giving me the trailblazer award!!!"
