Model Gigi Hadid and comedian Jay Pharoah hosted the American Music Awards. Hadid made headlines after impersonating Melania Trump in their opening monologue. The model did an imitation of the soon to be first lady, and said: ?I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children, Sasha and Malia.? Since the event, Hadid was trending on social media, and users called for her and the American Music Awards to apologize. She just posted a hand-written note to her concours-twitter.htm">twitter, and apologized if she offended anyone. In her note, she added: ?I removed or changed anything in the script that I felt took the joke too far.... what remained was done in good humor and with no bad intent.?
