On Monday, Rapper Kanye West was hospitalized due to a "medical emergency." The news comes hours after West cancelled his entire concert tour. At a show over the weekend, West launched into an angry profanity laced diatribe against fellow artists Jay Z and Beyoncé. The Saint Pablo Tour was set to run through to 31 December but all 21 remaining shows have been cancelled. Hours later it emerged that West, 39, was being treated at a University of California, Los Angeles clinic, with gossip website TMZ reporting that he was undergoing psychiatric tests after being examined for exhaustion.
