On Tuesday, in Cape Town South Africa American rapper Mos Def has apologized to The Department of Home Affairs. The rapper is now free to leave South Africa on Tuesday evening. The local South African government announced Mos Def's apology at a press conference. Mos Def, who is now known as Yaslin Bey, was arrested for traveling on a fraudulent passport.
