Indian actor and producer Anil Kapoor whose credits include Slumdog Millionaire and the Indian remake of the show 24, has reportedly been cast in the Amazon pilot The Book of Strange New Things. Based on the cult-hit novel from Michael Faber, the hourlong drama follows a priest who is sent into outer space to help discover and build a new colony. However, what he ends up discovering not only puts his faith to the test but life as everyone knows it.
