Otter Media, a joint venture between AT&T and The Chernin Group, has partnered up with actress Reese Witherspoon to form a new multimedia company called Hello Sunshine. Hello Sunshine will reportedly be aimed at telling female-driven stories. The 'Walk the Line' actress' involvement in Hello Sunshine will be through her production company Pacific Standard. Meanwhile, AT&T partnered with The Chernin Group to form Otter Media in 2014 in order to capitalize on the booming streaming video industry. Witherspoon launched Pacific Standard back in 2012 as a means to get more women both behind and in front of the camera.
