VIDEO : John Legend Relays His Experience On 'La La Land'

John Legend is a successful R&B artist with songs that touch the hearts of every listener. In his recent acting credit 'La La Land' Legend plays a Jazz musician and had the opportunity to describe his experience with the role at The Hollywood Reporter's Songwriter Oscar Roundtable. "I think it is actually helpful to have a script, to have something, a feeling that you're trying to capture, and a visual that you're trying to match it with," Legend says about writing music for the film.
