On Wednesday night, former U.S. president Bill Clinton made a surprise appearance at the New York premiere of the movie, Lion. The film, which stars Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman is adapted from Saroo Brierley's memoir, A Long Way Home. Lion tells the true story of how a wrong train takes a young Indian boy hundreds of miles from home leading to him being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, he learns of a new technology called Google Earth and sets out to find his lost family. While introducing the film, producer Harvey Weinstein announced the presence of Clinton, who received a standing ovation.
