VIDEO : Prince?s Record Label Sues Jay Z?s Roc Nation

Celebrity in this news:

Prince?s record label is suing Jay Z?s for illegally streaming the late singer?s music on Tidal. TMZ reports that NPG's lawsuit claims Prince made a deal with Roc Nation to stream his last album, ?Hit N Run: Phase 1,? before his death. After his passing, the streaming service Tidal began streaming almost all of Prince?s catalog. NPG says that decision was never authorized by the late singer or his estate, despite Jay Z boastfully rapping about the alleged agreement in a song he was featured on. If Prince's estate wins the lawsuit, they will be able to move on with a deal they recently struck with Universal Music to be the exclusive distributor of the late singer's entire catalog. That would include never before heard music from his recently opened vault.
