VIDEO : Robert Downey Jr. to Direct TV Pilot 'Singularity'

Throughout his acting career, 'Iron Man' star Robert Downey Jr. has always been featured in front of the camera. But now it appears he is aiming to begin a career behind it. According to TheWrap, Downey Jr. has signed on to direct episodes of the upcoming Anthony Michael Hall television series, Singularity. As of now, plot details are unknown at this point, but Downey will produce the series as well as direct. The 'Avengers' star and his wife's production company, Team Downey Productions, will also be handling the show which is part of a first look deal they have with Sonar Entertainment.
