Actress Parker Posey is a favorite in the independent film community, and she recently announced that she is working on a memoir. Her book is entitled "You're On An Airplane: A Self-Mythologizing Memoir in Monologues, Crafts and Recipes." Posey calls the collection of essays "a printed version of stories she's been telling friends." Her publisher described the book as "observational humor and personal history." The bulk of Posey's resume comes from independent films. She has also worked with directors Richard Linklater, Noah Baumbach, and Hal Hartley. As for TV, her credits include "Boston Legal" and "The Good Wife."
