Beloved character actor Michael Shannon is best known, by some, for playing the villain General Zod in Zack Snyder's Superman re-up, "Man of Steel", and for reprising the role in the follow-up to that re-up, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
But it appears Shannon found the superhero sequel as tedious as its title, admitting in an interview with Fandango, ?Okay, I?ll tell you the god?s honest truth. Zack [Snyder] is gonna kill me for this ? he?s gonna kill me. I watched it once and I fell asleep.?
Shannon says he was on an international flight at the time of watching the film, and that his tiredness was more to blame than the quality of the superhero beatdown. Sure, Michael. Sure.
